Born 11/5/02
News Flash: Koko has been invited to Eukanuba Dog Show!
Koko is my son’s favorite of the dogs at home. She’s a real clown and a real sweetie. She competes in agility, runs and jumps with ease and athleticism.
The smallest in a litter of nine pups, and still the smallest of my girls here at home, Koko exudes a larger than life attitude. Nothing slows Koko down!
Her joy in life comes from pushing her small body to the limits. Racing around the backyard at full speed, jumping hurdles and twisting in mid air, leaping into the ponds with great ease, and spinning in circles at dinnertime, these are just a few of the ways she shows her joy in her athletic body.
This athleticism is what makes her an awesome agility competitor. The faster she runs, the quicker she makes it through tunnels and obstacles, the more she enjoys this game. When Koko runs a course even border collie owners stop to watch, and offer congrats to a great run. Koko is well on her way to the top of the agility game in AKC. She already has several MACH speed points, and MX and MXJ legs.
While Koko is titled in the agility arenas, she is also very comfortable in the fields as well. Koko loves to retrieve ducks and other birds.
As could be expected she is a a sight to see run on the fields on her way to a fallen bird. She just doesn't get tired out when working a long day in the field.
The spinning, the flying around at a hundred miles per hour, the clown-ish fun that Koko brings to our home is what endears her to my teenage sons. Bedtime at our house, finds Koko at rest on her favorite boy's bed.
